Notice to competitors for the English XX meeting:

1.

Those who require special squadding times are strongly recommended to enter early.

2.

Competitors who withdraw their entries after entries have closed may not receive a full refund of their entry fees.

3.

We reserve the right to alter conditions and prizes.

4.

Any 7.62mm target rifle approved by the N.R.A. may be used.

5.

Competitors may use any .308 TR ammunition using a bullet not exceeding 156gns.

6.

Hand loaded ammunition must be prepared in strict accordance with current NRA rules and regulations and accredited published loading manuals.

7.

Commercial ammunition will be available to purchase at the cost prevailing at the time of the prize meeting. If the N.R.A. raises the costs of targets and/or markers, a surcharge may be levied pro rata. The cost will include the empty cases.

8.

Due to target restrictions, matches may not be run in strict order as per programme. If the situation demands, and as a last resort, some matches may be run concurrently.

9.

Members of affiliated schools and cadet units may compete with ammunition as issued by the Ministry of Defence to their school or unit. The Club CANNOT provide such ammunition. There will be reserved prizes for these competitors. F Class competitors are required to provide their own ammunition in strict accordance with NRA Regulations. F class entries are based on squadding two per target. If there are enough entries to squad three to a target, the entry fee will be reduced and a refund provided on collection of squadding cards.

Sighting shots are convertible.

Squadding cards and ammunition will be available at the Menagerie on Friday evening. Also available up to 8am on Saturday morning, after which it will be on the firing point.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

ALL COMPETITORS ARE EXPECTED TO BE FAMILIAR WITH, AND TO OBSERVE, N.R.A. REGULATIONS, ESPECIALLY N 269 - 277

13.

During the weekend, all firearms are to be kept in lockers, cases, boxes or out of sight in locked vehicles, except when in use on the firing point. Competitors should not walk throughout camp with uncased or unboxed firearms at any time.

14.

All competitors must produce their shooter certification card to draw squadding and ammunition.

15.

U25s and students in full time education are entitled to a 25 percent discount, if you are eligible please state this in the comments.
Please note, the discount does not apply to any ammunition purchased.

16.

We appreciate that for many, this could be the first time you have shot this year. With this in mind we will provide a 5 minute practice period at the beginning of the detail, prior to the competition starting. Shots will be marked back. This will only be available for both 300x details of the Association. If you are asking the club to provide ammo, and wish to take advantage of the practice period, please select the Practice competition. This will allocate you 3 practice rounds.

17.

Full details of the COVID19 procedures to be followed during the competition will be sent prior to the event.
